Dear Reader(s),
Is it just me or does it appear the idea of squatting has slowly died. It could just be me living in New England and Philly, but it appears that there are no squats left. Some of the more famous ones such as C-Squat (New York City) and Paradise City (Philly) have died off. C-Squat finnally appealed and bought the building for 1 dollar and is no longer a squat. Where as Paradise City was shut down after a kid was killed there. I hope the west coast is having more luck then we are.
In my travels I've rarely come across a previously set up squat. In NYC there were rumours of them but that they were scarse. Down in Philadelphia I set a few up but never wandered out to any that were actually there. Sure the rate of abandon buildings is down but they are still out there. It just saddens me to find out that they weren't as lucious as the stories say.
I guess that I'm more or less sending out a plea for people to start squatting more. There are good websites such as www.squattheplanet.com for people to collaberate. Though more then likely all the traveling kids are still bearing out the winter in New Orleans. Hopefully in the near future Obama will royaly fuck up and the economy will continue to crash. Thus causing a dieing dream of mine to come true: The growth of squats in america.

Will Democracy Last?
Dear Reader(s),
Through out history many governments have risen and fallen. Empires such as the Holy Roman Empire and the USSR have come and gone. They have fallin due to various causes i.e. war, rebelion, political collapse ect. The worlds strongest countries have stood at a stand still for atleast the past 20 years. However, as it is history repeats itself, and isn't about time for a change?
For the most part all forms of government work well on paper, but we aren't dealing with paper. The United States has only been on the map for a brief time. In this short time it seems to be slowly eating itself from the inside out. The american people have slowly become a milking cow for the government. After 200 years the corruption has become so unbearable that everyone who isnt a mega-rich billionaire is, if not already, becoming poor.
America is at a point where everything is begining to fall appart. The minimum wage in this country is more of a slave wage then a liveable income. In the past two monthes I've seen a handful of politicians arrested for bribes. Thank god Bush is out of office because I don't think I could take another U.S. policy that gives him more money and me less. Don't forget that by now we all know the "War In Iraq" is a war for oil and not for "Freedom". With all of this things going on how can we expect to be free?
I predict that at the rate we are going we are at the beginning of the end. At this point the governemnt is not taking care of the needs of the people! Every war after World War 2 has ended up turning into a fiasco. At what point are we going to say enough is enough. After several decades of failure after failure are the american people finnaly going to say they've had enough?

The Patriot Act and Traveling Kids
Dear Reader(s),
On Sept. 11th, 2001 the World Trade Towers and the Pentagon were hit by 3 separate planes. Ofcourse it was a great attack on this country and threw us all into panic(I at the time thought it was a joke). Soon to come after the attack was the dreaded Patriot Act. It proposed several things such as racism on planes, tapping your phone, and the works. Though it was said to be used as a "tool on the war on terrorism" it hasnt actually stoped another attack. However the traveling kids have suffered.
Modern day hobo's as some call them. The traveling kids. Hobos, Crusties, whatever you'd like to refer to them as have suffered a great loss. I've read and heard stories of kids being pulled of trains and being placed in jail for several weeks. Now not all of the Bull (Rail Road Pigs) are bad but they are few. The Patriot Act gives the Bull a sense of false of athority. They've beaten and arrest many of the traveling kids.
Finnal summory. WHAT MAKES PEOPLE THINK A 17 YEAR OLD KID IS GUNNA BLOW UP A FRIEGHT TRAIN! Lets have a little commen sense here. There is absolutely no threat to national security for a kid sleeping on a train. They respect them because its there mode of transportation. Whatever happened to the American hobo of the 40's and 50's. Is this country so screwed up that we can't even trust our own American born citizens. So i leave you with a quote.

My First Anarcho-Post
Dear Reader(s),
This is my first atempt at a blog. In the near future I hope to bring my left-wing anarchist thoughts to the world. In an atempt to try and change the world around us i hope to post a daily blog. I hope to encourage and excite you minds with my views on politics, war, famon, ect. Most of all though I aim to expand your mind and give you the courage to think freely on you own.
